 The Hospers Summer Reading 2012!

The Hospers Public Library is having a Summer Reading Program for children ages 3 to 18.  Parents and Adults can join the fun by becoming part of the Adult Reading Program.  The Reading Programs are free.  In all ages of the reading program, participants read at their own pace and whatever books they choose to earn prizes.  Please sign up for the program at the library.

There are also weekly special events happening at the library during the summer.  All of these event are free and open to the public.  You do not have be be part of the Summer Reading Program to attend these great events. 

Tumble Books!  Ebooks for kids!

What is Tumble Books?

The TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books) with fiction, non-fiction and foreign language titles, Read-Alongs (chapter books with sentence highlighting and narration but no animation), TumbleTV which consists of pre-set playlists of a sequence of books, and Tumble Puzzles & Games.  A special Thank You for Den Hartog Industries for helping to make Tumblebooks possible!

Hospers Library has expanded its Wilbor services to include E-Books. Library card holders can check and download ebooks anytime. Visit http://wilbor.lib.overdrive.com.

AudioBooks

Want to listen to Audiobooks on your MP3 player or Ipod?  You can use your library card to download free audiobooks from the Wilbor Website.
